Principal Civil Engineer – Gloucester

£55k-£60k plus benefits

Exciting opportunity to lead, shape, and grow. Our client is looking for an ambitious Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing Gloucester team.

This is your chance to step into a leadership role with a forward-thinking consultancy working on a wide range of commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of civil engineers and apprentices
• Manage client relationships and drive project delivery
• Design infrastructure including drainage, highways, and earthworks
• Produce drawings, reports (e.g. Flood Risk Assessments), and technical approvals
• Support business development and contribute to strategic growth

About you

• Degree-qualified with 5+ years\' civil engineering experience
• Skilled in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and ideally AutoTrack and ground modelling
• Strong communicator with proven client-facing and leadership skills
• Commercially aware and eager to take the next step in your career
