Job summary

TipTopJob in Nottingham is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to lead the Civils team, remaining technically involved while assuming responsibility for technical standards, clients, workload and the function's future direction. • Strong UK development infrastructure consultancy experience
• Technical strength across drainage, SuDS and highways
• Proven project and client leadership
• Confidence operating as the senior Civil Engineer within a small team
• Commercial awareness and ability to develop client relationships
• Chartered status would be advantageous

The Opportunity

An established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to take a leading role within its Civils business.

You will remain technically involved across development infrastructure projects, but this is about considerably more than project delivery. You will become the senior day:to:day Civil Engineer within the team, taking increasing responsibility for technical standards, clients, workload and the continued development of the Civils function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead drainage, SuDS, highways and development infrastructure projects
