What You Do.
DUTIES: Act as system/technical lead to provide ongoing delivery of a suite of digital collaboration tools using knowledge of Digital Workplace Systems including Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration systems; portals/intranets using Liferay DXP; digital signage using FourWinds Interactive/Poppulo; video management platform using Kaltura; IT Service Management with ServiceNow; Programming and design including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, XML, jSON, AJAX, REST, web services; Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems, and application servers such as Tomcat, Apache, JBoss; Databases including Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server), SQL Queries. Recommend strategy and lead execution of analysis, configuration, implementation, development, testing, administration and support of technologies related to enterprise content management (ECM), enterprise file sync & share (EFSS), portal/intranet systems, IT Service Management (ITSM), digital signage, collaboration, video management platform, and other emerging digital workplace solutions. Work with internal stakeholders to understand, recommend, design, and deliver solutions that emphasize a mobile-first approach. Participate in Agile team activities to write features and/or stories and address prioritized backlog of requirements. Act as a "Guide for the Present" by understanding current and future technical landscape to ensure solutions align overall and stay supported and relevant. Design implementation plans focused on a suite of technology products and solutions that support the digital workplace. Recommend strategy for integrating digital workplace tools with core business platforms. Lead and execute analysis, configuration, development, implementation, testing and administration of digital workplace systems. Analyze employee and department needs in relation to configuration and utilization of existing or new digital workplace solutions. Lead analysis to create specifications and design custom functions including workflows, security schemas, and other automated processes within digital workplace systems. Conduct analysis of business processes and translate business needs into appropriate functionality within the digital workplace systems. Provide framework and create documentation for solution configuration, testing defects and resolution for all the digital workplace systems. Lead system management of all digital workplace systems including architecture, installation, monitoring, tuning, maintenance, backup, and integration of hardware, software, and cloud-based digital workplace systems. Develop and maintain comprehensive user and system-wide security plans for all digital workplace systems. Lead resolution of digital workplace hardware and software issues with other IT organizations. Plan and define activities needed for upgrades or addition of new applications and ensure all software components stay on compatible and current releases. Participate in Information Technology Disaster Recovery planning and testing. Coordinate and ensure proper backups are run and restore/recovery processes are developed and fully tested.
Your Education and Experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Systems, Biotechnology, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Developer, or Consultant. Experience to include at least 5 years' working knowledge of: (1) Digital Workplace Systems including Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration systems; (2) portals/intranets using Liferay DXP; (3) digital signage using FourWinds Interactive/Poppulo; (4) video management platform using Kaltura; (5) IT Service Management with ServiceNow; (6) Programming and design including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, XML, jSON, AJAX, REST, web services; (7) Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems, and application servers such as Tomcat, Apache, JBoss; and (8) Databases including Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, SQL Queries.
