Why this role is important to us
In SimCorp, we help some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to be successful by simplifying their investments, accounting, and operations. We do this through IT systems, processes, and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us.
As a Senior Business Consultant and expert on Alternative Investments, you will contribute to development of our market unit's knowledge in the Alternative Investments Service line and contributing to achieve customer satisfaction and driving our client's projects to success.
You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects, which require your special expertise in the financial instruments area, and you will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream.
You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and proactively manage, coordinate, and escalate issues as needed.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Responsibility for major parts ofSimCorpDimension implementation projects: You know the customer requirements andprocesseswithin Alternatives Investment and outline solutions for optimal use ofSimCorpDimension
- Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in leading projects to success
- Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection withSimCorpDimension
- Conduct workshops to explore client requirements, working with clients and SimCorp's team to help capture, define, and agree on system functional requirements
- Consult with clients on solutions for the work stream and configure SimCorp Dimension in line with standards and experiences
- Contribute to improving the standards and solution for implementation processes and promote topics across projects
- Actively participate in knowhow exchange with colleagues on an international level
- Constantly expand your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and the clients' business in order to ensure that clients get the optimal configuration and workflow.

- Degree in economics/finance, mathematics/computer science or similar qualification
- Work experience with Alternative Investments as aSeniorBusiness Analyst orSeniorConsultant frombanks, asset managers, insurers or consulting firms
- IdeallyyouhaveSimCorpDimension experience oryouare familiar with implementingfinancialsoftware
- You are persistently appreciative and client-oriented with a resilient can-do mindset and an above-average energy level.
- Team spirit and a desire to share your knowledge
- Strong communication and consulting skills and a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness
- Fluency inEnglish, other European language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel
