Job DescriptionOverview

We are looking for a Principal Building Services Engineer to join PM Group on a hybrid basis based out of our Manchester office.

Job Title - Principal Building Services Engineer

Location - Manchester

Contract - Full-Time Permanent

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for conceptual and detailed designs of complex building services systems in facilities within the pharmaceutical, mission-critical, food, chemical, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

You will be part of a talented, supportive, and friendly Building Services team working across the UK and globally, in a multidisciplinary environment with engineers and project management personnel to deliver high-tech facilities.

Additionally, you will assist with bids and tenders, and provide coaching and mentoring to early-career engineering professionals.

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Building Services, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferably Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Status with CIBSE or IMechE
  • Experience in building services engineering, professional services, or consultancy
  • Knowledge of regulations, legislation, codes of practice, and standards applicable to mechanical building services
  • Knowledge of BREEAM, LEED, and related concepts is desirable
  • Familiarity with BIM, Navisworks, MEP AutoCAD, Revit is advantageous
  • Ability to adapt, multitask, and prioritize effectively
  • Positive outlook and approachable manner
