A local government authority in Tees Valley is seeking a skilled Principal Building Control Surveyor to manage Building Regulation applications and conduct site inspections. We are currently looking to appoint either a Principal Building Control Surveyor or Building Control Surveyor. The appointment level will depend on experience and qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, progressive, and ambitious Building Control Surveyor to join our Building Control team in the role of Principal Building Control Surveyor.
The role involves managing a variety of Building Regulation applications, including plan checking, site inspections, enforcement, and dealing with dangerous structures. Additional responsibilities include supporting the administration of the Safety at Sports Grounds Act, advising the Public Events Safety Advisory Group, and deputising for the Building Control Manager when required.
