Job Description:

As a Principal Bridge Engineer, you’ll be designing cutting-edge structures, managing multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to business growth. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing assignments across the UK and internationally, ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery of high standards
• Delivering innovative engineering solutions, leading design and analysis for various structural types using relevant standards
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources

• Contributing to business development through proposals and client relationships

Qualifications:

We seek a technically strong engineer with leadership skills, ready to impact complex projects. Ideally, you will have:

• A Chartered Civil Engineer qualification with a postgraduate degree in a relevant field
• Extensive experience in designing and constructing long-span bridges (segmental, arch, extradosed, cable-stayed)
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, international standards, and structural design processes
• Experience in team management and mentoring
• Proficiency with structural analysis software like LUSAS, Midas
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear, high-quality documentation
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
• A collaborative approach focused on successful project delivery
