Role Overview

As the Principal Backend Engineer, you will lead the development and optimization of backend services, define the technical vision, and ensure infrastructure scalability and security. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise and strategic foresight.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Strategy: Define the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and make architectural decisions for scalability, performance, and security.

• Development and Deployment: Oversee backend microservices, ensure CI/CD processes, and integrate with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues.

• Optimization and Performance: Monitor performance, optimize APIs, and manage AWS resources efficiently.

• Quality Assurance and Security: Implement secure coding practices, testing frameworks, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work with frontend, DevOps, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in backend development, 3+ years in leadership.
• Expertise in C# .NET Core, microservice architecture, AWS EKS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience in API design (REST, gRPC), CI/CD, monitoring, and logging systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, CQRS/ES.

Compensation
