Job description

We have a brand-new opportunity for anAssociate or Principal Electrical Engineerto join our MEP (Building Services) division based in ourManchesteroffice.

It's an exciting time to join our MEP team! We have a proven track record working within the North of England, with offices in Leeds, Manchester and more recently Scotland.Working collaboratively with our North division, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice.

Your role will include:

  • Be a pro-active member of the MEP leadership team, and oversee the day to day running of the electrical disciplines, overseeing multidisciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.
  • Maintain and develop external relationships with clients and take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects including negotiating additional fees and facilitating new & continued work.
  • Act as a role model within the MEP team, ensuring projects are delivered to a ‘right-first-time’ approach, ensuring appropriate quality management procedures are in place and are adhered to.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Relevant qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters and have chartered status.
  • Proven Electrical Associate with a strong track record of working within the UK on a range of mainstream building services projects.
  • Experienced team manager, including recruitment, wellbeing, performance, management and development.
  • Ability to win work and undertake business operations including marketing, commercial and financial responsibilities.
  • Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Revit and IES/Amtech.
