Qualifications

  • Proven experience in electrical building services design.
  • Degree-qualified or HNC/HND with equivalent experience.
  • Competent in Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux and the usual design tools.
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regs, British Standards, and ideally HTMs.
  • Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
  • Chartered or working towards CEng via CIBSE or IET.

Responsibilities

  • Leading projects from concept to completion.
  • Representing the company in client meetings and presentations.
  • Guiding junior and mid-level engineers through technical delivery.
  • Developing low/zero carbon strategies in line with net zero targets.

I'm recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking, low-carbon building services consultancy that's looking for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to strengthen their Bristol team. With a broad project portfolio spanning healthcare, education, commercial, residential, and complex industrial developments, the work here is varied, meaningful, and technically stimulating.

What you'll be doing:



  • Leading projects from concept to completion
