Your purpose:

We seek professionals for Principal, Associate, or Chief Geotechnical Engineering roles within our Ground Engineering division. Candidates should have leadership and technical expertise to manage complex geotechnical projects, conduct technical reviews, and support colleagues in understanding advanced geotechnical principles.

The successful candidates will play a key leadership role in our Geotechnical and Numerical Modelling disciplines, which are central to our technical capabilities and innovation in geotechnical design and modelling.

The candidate should have:

  • An engineering degree, ideally with MSc or PhD, and Chartered status.
  • Experience in geotechnical analysis and design, including seismic analysis, soil-structure interaction, liquefaction assessment, and ground improvement.
  • Experience leading numerical modelling teams using software like FLAC / FLAC3D, PLAXIS 2D / 3D, etc., with a strong understanding of advanced soil models and model validation.
  • Ability to manage geotechnical analysis within interdisciplinary projects and drive digital innovation.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with confidence liaising with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas, with a valid UK driving license.
