ROLE SUMMARY

In this role, you will provide leadership and technical direction for our products. You will play a key role in guiding our cloud native microservice architecture. In this position you will have the opportunity to get hands on, whilst working closely with other technical stakeholders, to make some of the key technology decisions driving our business expansion through our scalable SaaS solutions. This is a technical leadership role, and you will need the communications and engagement skills to take people with you and help guide and coach Solution Architects, Software Engineers plus Product and Delivery team members, so that they can see, and share in, the wider architectural vision for ENSEK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. You will have experience developing and running distributed microservices, designing for high availability, scalability and low latency.
2. You’ll work collaboratively with the CTO, Solutions Director and the Solution Architects you manage, to take ownership of architectural and technical decisions.
3. You will design, build and articulate architectural technical solutions. Therefore, maintaining a strong hands on ability is key to success within this role.
4. You will follow technical enhancements and developments within the industry, taking new ideas and concepts and bringing them into our highly scalable SaaS solutions.
5. You’ll drive towards an architecture that optimizes flexibility, re-use, scalability, performance, durability and availability.
6. You will manage a small team of Solution Architects.
7. You’ll ensure you are available to help coach and guide Software Engineering, and others, avoiding architectural bottle necks, thereby keeping colleagues engaged and informed.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

1. Leading expert. You’ll already be leading in technical architecture, enterprise-level design, implementation and integration, SOA, microservices, and event driven architectures. As we all as a being skilled in AWS, .NET, Web API, Node.js, and AngularJS.
2. Stakeholder. You’ll be happy working your key stakeholder groups, informing, engaging and being available to them. You’ll consider this to be one of your key strengths and a big reason why you have been successful to date.
