• Job Title: Principal Architect (SC Cleared)
• Rate: £725 per day (Inside IR35)
• Initial Duration: 6 Months
• Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in Croydon)

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Principal Architect to work with a government organisation on a large architecture strategy programme. Working as part of a skilled programme you will act as one of the principal architect on the programme. A fantastic role that has the potential to run long term.

PLEASE NOTE - You must be SC Cleared to be considered, if your clearance has lapsed but is still in date then this can also be considered.

Key Skills/Experience

• Proven experience leading, co-ordinating and managing architecture teams
• Track record of managing the architectural strategy organisation-wide and of large platforms for multiple internal and external customers (ideally Cloud, AWS or Azure).
• Have experience in driving transformative business change as a technology leader, owning or sponsoring large change programmes.
• Skilled at directly and indirectly influencing policy & strategy, including structure of transformation programmes
• Have defined, validated and agreed organisation wide architecture or technology strategies interlocked with wider business strategy
• A skilled technologist, able to operate at Enterprise level in;

• a highly technical environment, with a broad set of technical skills (including Java, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, KafKa, multiple CI/CD tools, integration techniques, patterns etc), and/or
• a mature data ecosystem, with a broad set of data and technical data skills (including data governance, data quality, master data management, data lineage modelling, data ware/lake houses, etc)
