Invesco is seeking a Principal Architect to define and lead cloud architecture across the Digital Platforms portfolio, spanning web, servicing, and internal tools. You will shape architecture, drive secure, scalable solutions, and partner with central Cloud and DevSecOps teams to implement patterns.
You will mentor engineers, translate business roadmaps into technical designs, and ensure adherence to standards while delivering high-impact initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy.
The Digital Platforms team is responsible for delivering and operating the firm’s digital ecosystem across web, client servicing, and internal tools. The team owns the end-to-end platform architecture spanning experience platforms, applications, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
The Principal Architect is a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and leading cloud architecture across Digital Platforms. This role combines hands‑on solution design with domain‑level architectural leadership, ensuring consistent, scalable, and secure solutions across web, servicing, and tools.
The role works closely with the firm’s central Cloud and DevSecOps teams, who manage the AWS platform and pipelines, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of cloud patterns. Acting as a technical authority, the role influences architectural decisions across teams and delivers high‑impact, complex initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy.
Applicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview. We are committed to providing an inclusive recruitment process for all candidates who make an application. By opting‑in to this scheme, applicants will be disclosing that they have a disability solely for the purpose of the Disability Confident Scheme.
The Disability Confident Scheme only guarantees an interview – it does not automatically mean that applicants interviewed will gain employment with Invesco at that time.
To apply through the Disability Confident Scheme, you’ll need to firstly ensure you have applied for the role via our external careers page. Following this, you’ll need to email us at confirming your wish to opt‑in, alongside your contact details and the title of the role you wish to apply for.
