The role
As a Principal Architect, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Join the Major Infrastructure Projects (MIP) Business Unit in delivering critical defence infrastructure to support the UK’s future MOD ship and submarine programmes. Help shape the design, build, and commissioning of advanced facilities for the long-term maintenance of Astute Class submarines.
Day-to-day, you’ll leverage your expertise in facility upgrades or construction to manage and review subconsultant design packages, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and applying architectural oversight to deliver an integrated facility that meets all technical and operational sustainment requirements.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
