Job Description:

Microchip Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer to support development and testing of RF Power Amplifiers for applications in Communications, Radar, Satellite, and Instrumentation.

This role involves managing Evaluation Boards (Dev Tools), supporting product development, and collaborating with local and overseas teams. The engineer will utilize RF test benches and IQSTAR software to generate test reports and improve testing processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute test solutions for RF power amplifiers (1–100 GHz, medium to high power).

  • Use platforms like AMCAD / IQSTAR to build automated tests.
  • Maintain and improve test platforms, introduce innovations.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and test issues.
