Job Description:

A new opportunity has arisen for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer with experience in AMS Verification capabilities to join an established global company working on world leading precision timing products at their new design centre in Cambridge.

To further complement their growing Analog IC Design team, they are looking for a Principal Analog IC Designer with the skills and enthusiasm to significantly enhance the companies competitive position by delivering robust, high performance custom Analog integrated circuits.

In this role you will work and collaborate in the team to develop ASICs for Ultra-Stable Reference Oscillator (TCXO, OCXO) applications requiring critical high stability and low-noise designs for ultra low-phase-noise oscillators

Responsibilities:

Work as a Principal Analog IC Design engineer in an ASIC design team focused on ultra-stable low-phase-noise oscillators products

Design, simulate and verify analog circuits to confirm correct operation and compliance with target performance specifications

Qualifications:

Deep knowledge on Bipolar (BJT) and CMOS Integrated circuit design with BiCMOS processes

Expertise in Cadence IC design tool flows and test bench design

Demonstrated capabilities for Circuit analysis and delivery of design solutions

Excellent team player with strong communication skills and high quality documentation

The successful Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will have 10 years of Analog IC Design experience with a proven track using Bipolar and CMOS Integrated circuit design with BiCMOS processes over several production ASICs along with experience inleading the development of full ASIC system solutions that have progressed into production.

You will be a proactive, self-starter who is able to work on own initiative. You will be a strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
