SGI is seeking a Principal AI/ML Architect to join a fast-growing cloud and AI consultancy delivering modern AI, data and cloud solutions for enterprise customers. The role is a 50/50 split between technical architecture/delivery and pre-sales, requiring strong technical chops and comfort with direct customer engagement.

We are working with a fast-growing cloud and AI consultancy delivering modern AI, data and cloud solutions for enterprise customers.

They are looking for a Principal AI/ML Architect to join their team. The position has an approximately 50/50 split between technical architecture/delivery and pre-sales, so we are looking for someone who is both technically strong and comfortable working directly with customers.

The Role

• Design and lead enterprise AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
• Architect solutions involving LLMs, agentic AI and model optimisation
• Lead technical pre-sales activities, including discovery, solution design, scoping and presentations
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience designing and delivering production AI/ML solutions
• Principal, Lead or Senior Architect-level experienceExperience with technical pre-sales and client-facing solution architecture
• Strong cloud experience across Google Cloud, AWS or Azure
• Experience with LLMs, agentic AI and frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, LangGraph or LangChain
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience with Google Cloud, Vertex AI, GKE or TPUs would be beneficial.
