Purple Oaks Academy in the Greenwood Academies Trust is recruiting a Principal to lead strategic direction and develop a personalised curriculum spanning Early Years to Post-16, built around communication, independence and emotional regulation.

The post seeks an experienced leader with a proven track record as Principal, Head of Academy or Deputy Principal, and the successful candidate will work with families, external agencies and the wider community to drive high standards and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Principal, Head of Academy or Deputy Principal.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop a personalised curriculum.
• Right to work in the UK; documents provided before interview.

Job description

Purple Oaks Academy, a special school for pupils aged 3 to 18 with autism and severe learning difficulties within Greenwood Academies Trust, is recruiting a Principal. The post centres on strategic leadership and on developing the school's personalised curriculum, built around communication, independence and emotional regulation, from Early Years through to Post-16. The school is oversubscribed, uses the TEACCH approach and works with families and external agencies. Experience as a Principal, Head of Academy or Deputy Principal is sought, and visa sponsorship is not available.
