Job summary

Societe Generale is seeking a Prime Services Product Controller, VP in London to oversee analysis and controls of the Product Control Accounting framework for SGIL. You will work with finance teams and business units to ensure accurate data and support monthly CFO presentations.

Role includes policy updates, automation projects, and participation in the Transformational Roadmap, with monthly P&L and balance sheet coverage across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience and skills in audit, accounting and controls framework.
• Experience and knowledge of brokerage business.
• Experience and knowledge of Prime & Commodities Accounting & Product control.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and banking regulations (ACA or ACCA), UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics with experience in a financial services company or significant experience in a similar function.

Responsibilities

• Develop analysis and controls over the Product Control Accounting framework for SGIL.
• Assist in new business developments and enhancements to industrialize the team production.
• Work closely with other finance teams and Business Units to ensure reliable and complete financial data.
• Participate in projects to Change the Bank with finance impact.
• Support strategic implementations and guide relevant projects.
• Contribute to SGIL Monthly financials presentation to CFO.
• Review and update policies and procedures documentation at least yearly.
• Develop automated solutions for SGIL finance department.
• Contribute to Transformational Roadmap for SGIL and PSC transformation partnering with regions.
• Cover monthly accounting production (P&L, Balance Sheet and Off-Balance Sheet), reporting & control, analysis and ad-hoc investigations.
