Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Product Control Manager to provide independent oversight and financial control across London, with responsibilities including daily P&L production, month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations, in partnership with Global Markets, Capital Structuring, Risk Management, Operations and Group Treasury.

The role requires accounting qualifications and 4–7 years in product control, with strong FX, Fixed Income and Rates knowledge, advanced Excel and SQL familiarity,

Qualifications

• Accounting-qualified professional with 4-7 years in product control.
• Strong knowledge of FX, Fixed Income and Rates products.
• Experience with P&L decomposition reporting and front-to-back controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate daily P&L with analysis and explanations.
• Perform month-end accounting, balance sheet validation and GL reconciliations.
• Produce daily risk reporting for new transactions and P&L moves.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare P&L commentary and present results to desk/branch heads.
• Support Capital Structuring activities and drive process improvements.
