Job description

Base Location: Reading, Portsmouth, Perth or Glasgow.

Salary: £50,100 – £75,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible Working options available.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Integration Lead to join the SSEN Distribution Large Capital Delivery team. Large Capital Delivery (LCD) is responsible for delivering a portfolio of large capital projects and programmes across the electricity distribution network in the SEPD and SHEPD licence areas, each valued between £2.5m and £100m.

You will

– Develop programme schedule baselines to track and performance manage against SSEN gateway milestones and regulatory outcomes.

– Manage the schedules for complex and inter-related projects and programmes of work, including resource scheduling, risk management, cost-loaded programmes and earned value analysis.

– Support in standardisation and streamlining to improve efficiencies in reporting, including continuous improvement of tools and techniques.

– Create project specific programme summary reports and insights needed to inform business decision making.

– Assess Contractor submitted programme for acceptance, summating findings and presenting to project team on actions required for compliance.

– Provide stakeholder co-ordination and management to provide consistent and clear information specific to programme schedules.

You have

– Proven experience working on built infrastructure projects across sectors such as energy, water, gas, and transportation, with responsibility for planning and control.

– Expert-level knowledge of Primavera P6.

– A working knowledge of the NEC suite of conditions of contracts.

– Experience of working within a programme planning function.

– Experience with working across a complex project delivery cycle.
