You will be working for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools across Gravesend, Kent.
Hays has various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools across the Gravesend area. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area, we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available.
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. Working for Hays will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. As a Hays Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from small mixed-form village schools to multiple-form entry large schools.
To be a Primary Supply Teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You should have recent classroom experience within the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You need to be a creative and positive teacher who can adapt to new surroundings and situations, demonstrating professionalism at all times. Strong classroom management skills and good communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with TAs and school staff.
You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience and responsibilities, plus holiday pay that you can take at any time of the year. You will receive free, up-to-date safeguarding training, and the option to join our ‘guarantee pay scheme’ is available. You will work in various primary, infant, and junior schools and will have a dedicated primary teaching consultant who specializes in the Kent area. Additionally, if you refer other education professionals to Hays, you can receive £250 in vouchers for each successful referral.
