Hays is partnering with a primary school in the Shepton Mallet area to recruit a KS2 teacher. This role will start in Term 5 and continue until the end of the academic year. You will join a supportive staff network, working together to help children reach their full potential.

Your new role

You will take on full teaching responsibilities for a KS2 class. This includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, as well as marking work to meet the needs and interests of your pupils. Collaboration with other staff members, including teaching assistants, is essential to ensure all children have access to learning materials. Additionally, you will participate in extracurricular events and help strengthen community relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have recent experience working with children. While subject leadership is desired, it is not essential. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.
