The School and Role

  • Do you thrive when working with Key Stage 2 children?

A school in Wigan is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 6 pupil who shows great enthusiasm in his work, however they may need you to point the right direction for socialising, groups and supporting his own wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Experience of SEMH, ASD or language skills development.
  • Excellent management of behaviour, a confident approach that offers care, support and boundaries.
  • Set up and put into action engaging children within their core subjects that cater to the abilities of all students.
  • Create meaningful opportunities to learn
  • Contribute to the organisation of school as a whole and develop relationships with school staff.
  • Promote teamwork, and positive attitudes toward health and fitness among students.
