Job summary

Staining Church of England Primary School in Blackpool seeks an experienced teaching assistant to join our team. The role focuses on PPA cover, supporting class teachers, interventions and welfare across several classes. Qualifications

• Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience of supporting learning in a primary school.
• First Aid (Desirable).
• Relevant teaching assistant qualification (Desirable).
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide support to multiple classes with PPA cover, interventions and welfare.
• Support class teachers and take part in welfare.
• Temporary 12 months with potential to become permanent; pro-rata pay if part time.
