Job summary

Academics is seeking a friendly Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Hockley from September 2026. This full-time, one-year contract offers stability with potential to extend or go permanent.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the class teacher to support effective learning
• Provide one-to-one and small group assistance where needed
• Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop independence

• Support with interventions and additional learning activities
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
• Promote positive behaviour and strong relationships
