Job summary

Bowlee Park Community School is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils with additional needs. The post is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term-time, with an agreed salary of £18,650–£18,943 per year. The successful candidate will communicate clearly and work as part of a team to help our children reach their potential in a caring learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Team player with good communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable and driven by the needs of our children
• Ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs in class and during activities.
• Assist teaching staff with planning, delivering and differentiating learning.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming and respectful learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues to support progress.
