Primary School Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start

We're recruiting an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in the Wembley area. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, with an immediate start.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them with academic progress, social skills, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support to SEND pupils, meeting their individual academic and social needs

• Support small groups of SEND students with tailored assistance to encourage collaborative learning

• Work closely with teachers and other Teaching Assistants to maintain an inclusive classroom that promotes engagement for all pupils

• Assist with setting up and tidying the classroom before and after lessons to ensure a well-organised learning space

• Promote independence and self-confidence among SEND students, providing encouragement and guidance as a Teaching Assistant as they navigate their learning journey.

Requirements:

• Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
• Able to start immediately as a Teaching Assistant
• DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
• Experience working with children in the UK
• Live in the Wembley area or able to commute to the area.
