Academics are working with a well-led primary school in Havering, London, seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant. The role is full-time, long-term, in-school support from 8:30am to 3:30pm, term-time only, with an ASAP start in October or November 2026 and a contract through July 2027.
You will work 1:1 and in small groups across Reception to Year 6, supporting children to meet academic targets and assisting pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs. Training and CPD are offered.

If yes, then Academics are working with a well led and supportive primary school in the Borough of Waltham Forest (Havering) who are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic primary school in October or November 2026! This is a full-time, long-term role that will involve working in the school for at least the full academic year (till July 2027).
As a primary teaching assistant, you will be responsible for working alongside the class teacher to support students both in and outside of their lessons, enabling children to meet their academic targets. You will have the opportunity to work with children across Reception to Year 6 on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
This role will also include working with students with ASD, ADHD and SEMH. The Headteacher is therefore keen to trial/ interview candidates with prior experience or a passionate graduate who is looking for a long-term career working with children.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
