Job summary

Elm CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and help ensure high-quality teaching and learning for all pupils across the school. The role is permanent within Grace Schools, offering 25 hours per week over 38 weeks per year.

Applicants should have GCSEs or equivalent, NVQ Level 2, and experience working with children. The salary is part of the £25k range with pro-rata options.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant.
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and safeguarding.
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, parents and the community.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' needs and support learning with detailed knowledge and skills.
• Establish productive relationships and set high expectations.
• Support pupils consistently while recognising individual needs.
