Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for a position in Barnsley, starting in September 2024. This full-time, long-term fixed placement via Academics involves supporting whole class activities across key stages, including some SEN support, across primary settings from EYFS to KS2. The role may include small group and 1:1 support, intervention, and catch-up work, primarily in KS1 and KS2, with potential involvement in EYFS.

The ideal candidate will be bright, positive, adaptable, and able to support lower age ranges, especially for children with Education Healthcare Plans working below age-related expectations.
