GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Worksop. Duties of the Role:

• Support classroom activities: Assist the class teacher with daily lessons and activities across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2).
• Provide one-on-one support: Offer individual or small group assistance to students who may need extra help with learning.
• Promote a positive learning environment: Help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom where all students feel valued and motivated.
• Encourage student development: Help students with their academic progress and social skills.
• Feedback and communication: Provide regular feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Support during break times: Assist with supervising students during playtimes and lunch, promoting positive social interactions.
• Contribute to the school community: Engage with staff, parents, and students to foster a supportive environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A genuine passion for supporting young learners and fostering their development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards supporting children’s learning.
• An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
