Job title: Primary Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Surrey

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: £89.38 - £95.00 per day

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Join our team at a mainstream primary school in Surrey as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or SEN Teaching Assistant. You'll support children from Early Years to Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers and staff to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering creative activitiesthat support children's development.
  • Aid in the social, emotional, and academic growthof children, particularly those with SEN, including Behavioural and SEMH needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environmentfor all students.
  • Observe, assess, and track the progressof individual children, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionalsto ensure holistic support for the children.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety regulationsare consistently followed.
  • Support the preparation and organizationof classroom materials and activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant qualificationsin Drama, Dance, Psychology, English, Sports Science, or similar.
  • Previous experiencein a school setting, youth clubs, or after-school clubs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, patient, and caring attitudetowards children.
  • Ability to work collaborativelywithin a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check(or willingness to apply for one).
