Job summary

The Education Network is hiring a Primary Teaching Assistant – Level 3 for a large primary school in Walsall, West Midlands. You will provide classroom support across the primary age range, work with the class teacher to support learning and engagement, and deliver targeted interventions including 1-2-1 and small-group support, particularly for pupils in the SEND Hub.

An enhanced DBS check will be required to proceed.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience in a primary school
  • Strong understanding of TA role

Primary Teaching Assistant – Level 3

Primary School – Walsall

The Education Network is looking for a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in Walsall.

Job Role
  • Provide classroom support across the primary age range
  • Work alongside the class teacher to support learning and engagement
  • Provide 1-2-1 and small-group support where required
  • Support pupils within the dedicated SEND Hub
  • Deliver targeted interventions and personalised support
  • Adapt your approach to meet individual learning and SEND needs

Essential Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working within a primary school
  • Strong understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to provide both classroom and tailored SEND support
  • A patient, adaptable and positive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
