Primary Teaching Assistant : Randstad Education

Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time

Contract Type: Long-term, Day-to-Day Supply, Term-Time Only

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students needing extra help
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Help prepare and organize teaching materials and resources
• Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as required
• Assist with classroom management and student behaviour
• Participate in school events, activities, and parent meetings when needed

Requirements

• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
• Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to working with students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (beneficial but not essential)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
