Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 – £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a primary school in Rotherham. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on children’s learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide individual and small group support to students who need extra help.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage active participation.
• Support with preparing learning materials and activities.

Requirements of the Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience in a teaching support role or working with children is desirable.
• A proactive and patient approach to supporting children’s learning.
• Uni students are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
• Passionate about helping children develop confidence and achieve their potential.
• An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained).
• An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
