Primary Teaching Assistant Immediate Start Paid Trial Days South East London

Role: Primary Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full Time

Location: N5, Islington

Rate: £90 - £110 Per Day

Interview: Paid Trial Days

Remedy Education is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to work at a leading primary school in London. This rewarding role involves supporting a student 1:1 in a mainstream class. The student has moderate Autism (ASD); therefore, experience in managing behaviour challenges and SEND techniques is required, along with academic support.

The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant will:

  • Help promote independent learning
  • Reinforce learning
  • Possess excellent interaction skills
  • Develop study and organisational skills
  • Help keep students on task and motivated
  • Model good practice
  • Use initiative effectively

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a primary classroom
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • SEN experience
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Remedy
