Job summary

Nottingham-based Primary Teaching Assistant role with Teacher Active. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements across NG8, Nottingham and surrounding areas.

You will support pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with responsibilities including 1:1 support, small group work and promoting confidence and engagement in learning. The role offers flexible work patterns, supportive consultants, and access to CPD through My-Progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children.

We work closely with a range of mainstream primary schools and regularly receive requirements for Teaching Assistants across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

With opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply and short-term cover to longer-term placements, we can help you find work that suits your experience and availability.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing in the classroom. Depending on the school's requirements, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Working with small groups or providing 1:1 support.

• Providing additional encouragement to pupils who need extra support.
