Job Description:

Teaching Personnel are currently working with several primary schools located across Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking full-time Primary School Teachers to start in September. This would be a great opportunity for either an ECT wanting to start their career in a mainstream primary school or an experienced Teacher looking for a new role.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 1 st September
  • A number of schools located across Stoke-on-Trent with opportunities across KS1/KS2

As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons following the national curriculum and incorporating the schools’ values. You will also work closely with support staff to create and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring the curriculum is accessible to all students; this may involve organising additional interventions and resources. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider school community, participating in assembly’s, organising extra-curricular activities and school events.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Primary school experience is essential for this role
  • A genuine passion for improving the early development of young learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current behaviour management techniques

What we’re offering:

  • Salary starting at £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience/PayScale)
  • A supportive working environment with professional development opportunities
  • A dedicated consultant to guide you through the application process and complete regular check-ins once started
  • If an ECT, we will provide support and ensure a mentor within school

To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
