Job summary

Teaching Personnel Cambridge is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work in schools across Cambridge and Ely. You will plan and deliver creative lessons, differentiate instruction, and support pupils to reach their full potential in welcoming learning environments.

Applicants should have QTS and a minimum of two years UK primary teaching experience, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum, excellent classroom management, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel across Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet all pupils' needs.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress.
  • Contribute to wider school activities.
  • Work with SENCOs and school leadership teams.
  • Travel across Cambridge and Ely as required.

We're recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teachers to work in schools across Cambridge and Ely. You'll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils to reach their full potential in welcoming and inclusive learning environments.

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Monitor, assess and record pupil progress
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs and school leadership teams
  • Contribute to wider school activities where appropriate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A minimum of two years' UK primary teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel across Cambridgeshire
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
