Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area, we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available.
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and teaching style. Working for Hays will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. As a Hays Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from small mixed-form village schools to large, multiple-form entry schools.
To be a Primary Supply Teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You should have recent classroom experience within the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You should be a creative and positive teacher, able to embrace new surroundings and situations, while demonstrating professionalism at all times. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables are essential. Good communication skills are crucial when speaking to TAs and other staff in schools.
You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience and the responsibilities of each assignment. You will also accrue holiday pay, which can be taken at any point during the year. Benefits include free, up-to-date safeguarding training, and the option to join our ‘guarantee pay scheme’. You will enjoy working in a variety of primary, infant, and junior schools, and will have a dedicated primary teaching consultant who specializes in Kent. If you know other education professionals seeking supply, long-term, or permanent work, you can receive £250 vouchers for each colleague you refer to Hays.
