Tradewind Recruitment are supporting a three-form-entry community Primary School in Sutton, South London, in their search for a Year 6 Class Teacher. The role is full-time, starting January 2027, on a temp-to-perm basis with the opportunity for permanency after around 12 weeks.

You will plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS2 lessons, assess progress and support the wider needs of your pupils. You'll join a supportive team led by a long-standing Headteacher and SLT, and work with two other Year 6

Responsabilidades

• You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation and delivery of engaging lessons, assessment and supporting the wider needs of your pupils.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure cohesive delivery of the curriculum across KS2 Year 6.
• Monitor and track pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Primary Teacher - Year 6 Class Teacher - Sutton

Location: Sutton, South London. Role: Year 6 Class Teacher. Contract: Full-time. Start date: January 2027. Duration: Temp to Perm contract available - with the opportunity to be permanent after 12 weeks! Are you an experienced KS2 Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a big, forward-thinking primary school? Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting the recruitment of a Year 6 Class Teacher for a three-form-entry community Primary School based based in the Sutton area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Year 6 Teacher seeking a long-term contract, or, their next permanent role. We can offer a 12 week temp to perm, meaning, you can assess the contract before committing permanently - if you are happy, you can join the school as a permanent member of staff in as little as 3 months!

Pay

This position is offered to Teachers within the Main Pay Scale (MPS1 - MPS6), equivalent to £200.99 - £267.89 per in a daily rate equivalent via PAYE on a weekly basis. ECTs will be offered MPS1 with pay scale offers based on experience.
