Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming school near Farnham. This role accepts either a primary or secondary teacher with a strong commitment to inclusion and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons.

You will support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD and SEMH, creating a positive classroom climate where every pupil can thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering inclusive education to pupils with SEN.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with staff, parents and external professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for learners with SEN.
  • Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech/language needs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and maintain records aligned to EHCP targets.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support engagement and achievement.
  • Encourage independence and social communication skills.

SEN Primary/ Secondary Teacher

Location: Farnham

Salary: MPS / UPS

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP – October half term

Supply Desk are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive apecialist school near Farnham. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs. The school are eager to welcome either a primary or secondary teacher with a passion for inclusion.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, personalised and differentiated learning to pupils with a range of additional needs, supporting their academic progress, personal development and emotional wellbeing. You will play a key role in creating a positive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with EHCP targets.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support engagement and achievement.
  • Encourage pupils to develop their independence, communication and social skills.
Requirements
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, inclusive education and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience or understanding of supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and learning difficulties.
  • Committed to supporting pupils both academically, socially and emotionally.
  • A confident and adaptable classroom practitioner who can differentiate learning to meet a range of individual needs.
  • A strong communicator who works effectively as part of a wider school and support team.
  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Professional, patient, reliable and resilient in their approach to teaching and supporting pupils.
  • Dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom where every pupil feels valued and supported.
  • Committed to helping pupils achieve their individual potential while developing their confidence, independence and life skills.
