Primary Teacher - SEN/SEMH Specialist School

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher, or do you have experience teaching/supporting children with SEN/SEMH?

An Outstanding specialist school for pupils with SEN & SEMH needs are searching for a Primary Teacher to join them ASAP, or January at the latest.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be teaching small classes of KS1 & KS2 pupils. The school day is tailored to the needs of the students, including structured play, therapeutic sessions and learning broken down into manageable chunks. Most students have ASD, and all of the students have ADHD or trauma/anxiety which can create challenging behaviour. However, all students benefit from:

  • A quiet, calm and purposeful learning environment
  • Tailored, short, low-pressure lessons which pupils enjoy.
  • Therapeutic aspect, which all staff receive weekly training on
  • State of the art facilities, on beautiful grounds surrounded by greenery
