Primary Teachers - Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location:Portsmouth
Salary: MPS to UPS (Term Time Only) + SEN allowance
Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Term Time Only)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with an outstanding special primary school that caters for pupils aged 4-11 with severe and complex learning needs, including a high proportion of pupils with autism. We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Primary Teachers to join the team and contribute to delivering high-quality, inclusive education.
The successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children with special educational needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons that are engaging, creative, and tailored to meet a wide range of learning needs.
You will be joining a supportive and experienced team who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of their pupils and families.
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils with complex needs
Develop and adapt curriculum resources to support individual learning styles
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies
Contribute to the development of a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Promote the social, emotional and academic development of all pupils
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with special educational needs
A child-centred approach with a commitment to inclusion and personalised learning
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A creative, enthusiastic, and resilient attitude
A highly supportive school community rated as Outstanding
