Deliver engaging, trauma-informed lessons across the primary curriculum to small classes
Create a safe, structured and predictable learning environment
Implement bespoke behaviour management strategies with support from therapists
Use therapeutic approaches to build trust and emotional regulation skills
Collaborate closely with TA's, SENCO and pastoral teams
Monitor progress through EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
QTS with primary teaching experience (ECTs with relevant experience considered)
Experience with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or trauma-affected learners
Exceptional behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
Ability to adapt teaching for complex needs
Passion for helping vulnerable children re-engage with learning
Specialist training in therapeutic teaching approaches
Supportive multi-disciplinary team including psychologists
Focus on staff wellbeing with manageable workload

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
