Primary Teacher Role at Prospero Teaching

If you are a qualified Primary Teacher confident in teaching KS2 curriculum, Prospero Teaching would love to hear from you! We are recruiting for a supply Primary Teacher to work with children with additional needs, both in school and in the community.

Experience with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) or working with learners with additional needs is desirable. If you have worked in an inner-city primary school with high socio-economic challenges and thrive in such environments, this role could be suitable for you.

The position starts in September 2025 and is initially a temporary to permanent role, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent position.

The school seeks an enthusiastic Primary Teacher confident in working in a specialist environment. You will join a highly committed and supportive team.

The pupils you will teach are all KS2, working at lower ability levels, with many having significant gaps in their education and missing fundamental skills.

Ideal candidates will have SEMH experience within an SEMH school, PRU, or SEND experience in mainstream schools.

We are looking for a teacher with a passion for learning, growth, nurturing, and expanding their educational skills.
