Primary Teacher / SEN Teacher

Primary SEN School - Waterlooville, Hampshire

September start - Full-time contract

Academics are seeking an empathetic and caring Primary Teacher / SEN Teacher to join a lovely Primary SEN School in Waterlooville, Hampshire in September. This is a full-time maternity contract.

They are a warm and welcoming Primary School in Waterlooville, Hampshire for pupils who have special educational needs, including those with social and communication difficulties, autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties. They currently cater for 149 pupils across our 14 classes from Reception up to Year 6.

The successful Primary Teacher / SEN Teacher will be teaching a class of Year 3/4 children who are learning at Year R - 2 levels, so ideally suited to a Primary Teacher / SEN Teacher who has worked in an SEN School with children with moderate learning needs. Class sizes are small so you are able to tailor your lesson to meet their individual needs.

You must have UK QTS and have experience of teaching primary aged children with SEN, either in a mainstream or SEN setting. You will part of an amazing, hardworking and happy teaching team who thrive in working in an such a caring environment.
