Overview

Job Title: Primary Teacher needed!

Location: Wednesbury

Start Date: Immediately

Salary: £170-£220 per day?

Responsibilities

The Schools is looking for a passionate team player to take on this long-term role in a SEND Primary setting. The successful SEND Teacher will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children's individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.

The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
  • Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
